Tripura: woman held with brown sugar in Agartala
The market value of the recovered item is about Rs 6 lakh (Approx).
AGARTALA– The Railway Protection Force ( RPF ) on Thursday arrested a woman from Agartala Raiwaly Station and seized brown sugar along worth of Rs 6 lakh from her possession.
Acting in a tipoff RPF/Agartala alongwith GRP & SB of Tripura detained one lady with 16 pkts of Brown sugar on the evening of 21st January at Agartala Railway Station.
She travelled by the Silchar- Agartala special. But her husband who had also accompanied her managed to flee.
During interrogation it was revealed that, they have a good network in Myanmar – Manipur – Dimapur to Tripura & Mumbai.
The market value of the recovered item is about Rs 6 lakh (Approx).
