Nagaland: Assam Rifle Apprehends Two NDFB Cadres from Longleng
One 7.62 mm AK 47 with Mag and 29 live rounds recovered from the possession of apprehended cadres.

As part of ongoing crackdown by Assam Rifles on insurgent groups, two NDFB cadres were apprehended in Longleng district of Nagaland on 22 Sep 19.
Based on specific information regarding movement of two militants from Tobu towards Assam, troops of Assam Rifles and TA launched an operation in general area of Yongmun.
During the search the troops apprehended Two NDFB Cadres namely Mr Janak Boro (23)and Bijay Boro (18 ) from Longleng district. both are resident of Kokrajhar, Assam.
One 7.62 mm AK 47 with Mag and 29 live rounds recovered from the possession of apprehended cadres.
The apprehendees along with recovered items were handed over to Longleng Police Station for further investigation.
