Mizoram: Security forces recover Explosives at Lawngtalai
The apprehended individuals along with the recovered explosives were handed over to police for further investigation.
AIZAWL- Security forces recovered large quantity of explosive from two different locations near Lawngtalai in Mizoram on Wednesday.
Based on specific intelligence regarding storage of explosives and other stores, Lunglei Battalion of Assam Rifles under aegis of Spear Corps along with Police representatives conducted search operations at two different locations near Lawngtalai, Mizoram on 04 May 22.
During the search two individuals were apprehended and 139 Gelatin sticks,149 Detonators and 43 meters of Cordex were recovered.
The apprehended individuals along with the recovered explosives were handed over to police for further investigation.
