Red Horns organised know your Army display at Chirang with the purpose to motivate the youth to join the Indian Army.

As a part of Army day celebration, Red Horns Division organised weapon display, Military Demonstration and cultural function at Kajalgaon on 19th January 2019. Chandan Brahma, Minister of Tourism inaugurated the event which was organised with an objective to reach out to the masses especially the youth.
The event were organised to motivate the youth to join the Indian Army. This event increased public awareness about the capability and achievements of the Indian Army. The show was attended by more than 1500 students and 155 Ex -servicemen from various districts of Lower Assam.
The event included a magnificent display by military pipe band, display of wide array of military weapons and equipments, medical camp for local public, spectacular demonstration of Military Drills by the brave soldiers of the Indian Army, cultural dance by Don Bosco School Bengtol and Don Bosco School Chapaguri.
Jekaikobai dance by Bitoral dance group and cultural performance by the Indian Army soldiers. At the end lunch was provided to all the schools students and participants who attended the event. An information Kiosk about joining the Indian Army was also put up during this event.
Such events create an environment of enthusiasm towards career among the generation and communal harmony between peoples and security forces.
Unit of Red Horns Division also organises Ex-Servicemen interaction on 18 Jan 2019 at Panbari, Dhubri District. A total of 28 veterans and 17 Veer Naris/Widows attended the interactive session with serving army personnel followed by a Barakhana.
An ex- servicemen grievance redressal cell was established wherein veterans were briefed about various welfare schemes, second employment avenue with DSC & Ecological Territorial Army. They were also educated on importance of registration on DIAV portal and ECHS cards.
