Churachandpur Sector of The Assam Rifles organised Motivational Lectures and screening of Patriotic documentary for students of Rayburn High School in Churachandpur District of Manipur as a part of events to commemorate 20th Years of Kargil Diwas.
The students got the opportunity to interact with serving soldiers and ex- servicemen who narrated their experiences while serving the nation in the Armed Forces. The tales of Valour and sacrifices of our brave soldiers during the Kargil War have profound impact on young minds and Teachers alike.
A Documentary on Kargil war was also screened during the event to show the gallant actions of our Armed Forces braving all odds. The students were enthusiastic about joining the Armed Forces and were inquisitive about the recruitment process and other career opportunities to join the Forces.
The interaction gave the student an insight into the soldierly way of life. The audiences express profound gratitude and appreciate the Efforts of the Assam Rifles for sharing these rare experience of our Brave heart which in turn not only widen their horizon but also enlighten them of the wonderful opportunities available to serve the Nation.
