Assam: Army organised NI cum Sports tour for avid footballers
During this tour, they will also get an opportunity to interact with the best coaches and physio experts from across the nation.

Indian Army, under Operation Sadbhavana, is organising a National Integration cum Sports Tour for 15 avid footballers from remote and far flung regions of Assam, which commenced on 7th Nov 2019 with flagging off ceremony at Tamulpur Military Station.
As part of this tour, the young students and footballers will have an opportunity to play against elite football clubs of Pune such as Pune FC, Phoenix, Deccan 11 and Parashuramians coupled with visits to several military, civil and governmental institutions like Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Stadium, NDA Khadakwasla and Symbiosis Sports Science School.
During this tour, they will also get an opportunity to interact with the best coaches and physio experts from across the nation.

Simultaneously, the trip is also embedded with elements of fun and frolic that includes visit to Imagica Water Park, Lonavala, Sinhgarh Fort in addition to local markets and malls.
With this one of its kind initiative, Indian Army has tapped the capacity of Football to mobilize collective sentiments and enhance social cohesion in order to develop a bond of mutual trust and respect with local population.
On the whole, this tour will provide an ideal platform to these youth of Assam to foster bonhomie and bring them one step closer towards national integration.
