Assam down town University Celebrates Placement Milestone with Over 700 Students Placed in Top Companies
The outstanding placement of 700+ students in leading national and international organizations during the 2024–2025 campus recruitment season.
GUWAHATI- In a resounding celebration of determination, guidance, and achievement, Assam down town University (AdtU) hosted the AdtU Success Meet 2025, commemorating the outstanding placement of 700+ students in leading national and international organizations during the 2024–2025 campus recruitment season.
Held at the K Block Auditorium, the grand event was organized by the Directorate of Career Advancement (DCA) and graced by the presence of Dr. Narendra Nath Dutta, Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Narayan Chandra Talukdar, Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Pranveer Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor, Board of Trustees, deans, faculty, proud parents, and hundreds of successful students.

In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N. C. Talukdar said, “This is more than a success meet — it is a celebration of dreams fulfilled. These 700+ success stories are proof of the resilience and potential of our students, guided by exceptional mentors and a visionary placement team.”
The 2024–25 placement season saw active recruitment by 115 reputed companies including TCS, Cognizant, Vodafone, Airtel, ITC, Apollo Hospitals, Blinkit, Jaro Education, Marico, and UltraTech Cement. The highest salary package offered was ₹12.76 LPA, with an average package of ₹4.5 LPA, making it a record-breaking year for the university.
Director (i/c) of DCA, Dr. Rimjhim Baruah Borah, expressed that “Each placement is a testament to hard work, transformation, and ambition. We are honoured to support our students in building meaningful careers.”
