CJP Stands Firm: Dharmendra Pradhan’s Exit ‘Non-Negotiable’
CJP Protesters Meet Union Ministers; Government Agrees to Compensation and Case Withdrawals, Seeks Time on Dharmendra Pradhan Resignation Demand
NEW DELHI — A delegation from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) held a second round of talks with Union ministers today, resulting in partial progress on the group’s demands related to NEET exam irregularities and student protests.
Representatives of CJP, including national spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, met with Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda and Minister of State for the Prime Minister’s Office Dr. Jitendra Singh, who represented the Central Government. The nearly two-hour meeting took place at Vithalbhai Patel House.
Following the discussions, CJP issued a statement indicating that the government has accepted two of their three key demands: providing compensation to the families of affected/deceased students and withdrawing cases registered against protesting students. However, the government has sought time until tomorrow afternoon (July 25) to respond to the third and “non-negotiable” demand — the resignation or dismissal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

CJP leaders reiterated that the resignation demand remains firm. “We told the Union ministers that our demand for the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan is non-negotiable,” Saurav Das told reporters after the meeting.
Ashutosh Ranka added that the government has asked for time till Saturday afternoon on this issue, expressing hope for a positive response.
No detailed official statement from the government side has been issued immediately after the meeting regarding the agreements or the timeline.

Union Minister J.P. Nadda addressed reporters, but specific quotes focused on the ongoing dialogue rather than confirming the concessions in detail.
The CJP, a youth-led group founded by Abhijeet Dipke, has been protesting at Jantar Mantar since June over alleged NEET paper leaks and irregularities. Their core demands include the Education Minister’s resignation, compensation to affected families, and reforms in the examination system.
Further talks are expected as the government considers the remaining demand. CJP leaders have indicated they will continue their agitation until all demands, particularly the resignation, are met.
