Guwahati: kuladhar Saikia emphasised police-public relation

More Police-public relation is the need of the hour for a good social environment, said kuladhar Saikia, Spl. DGP( L&O), while addressing a Public meeting largely attended by the leading citizens, members of the nagarik committees, VDP members.
Addressing the meeting Mr Saikia urged upon for more police- public relation , Police-media interface among others especially in view of the ensuing Republic day and international investors’ summit in Guwahati.
The meeting was attended by Hiren nath, Commissioner of Police, Guwahati , Mridulananda Sarma, DCP West, Maharshi Kashyap, Revenue circle officer and leading citizens Tarun Medhi, Bhupen Barua, Chandra Kr Das and Nipumoni Rajbongshi etc.
All the leading citizens urged upon the people of Assam to make Azara area a neat and clean as it is like the doorway to Guwhati.
