Manipur: Security forces train 325 girls for entry into military & para-military
The aim of the training was to guide and prepare young girls for various recruitment rallies of Army, Assam Rifles, CAPFs and other Government services.
IMPHAL- Security Forces of Spear Corps from IGAR (South) in Manipur concluded a month long intensive training for the women candidates from 16 Feb till 15 Mar 2021.
A total of 325 motivated girls from Chandel, Senapati, Ukhrul and Tengnoupal districts volunteered for the program and underwent training entry into military & para-military.
The aim of the training was to guide and prepare young girls for various recruitment rallies of Army, Assam Rifles, CAPFs and other Government services.
The training also prepared eligible girls for the forthcoming Military Nursing Service exam as well as for joining the Armed Forces as an officer.
The training was structured to groom the candidates by enhancing their physical and mental abilities and preparing them for selection.
As part of training, mock written tests, aptitude tests and physical training were organised. The conducting unit also organised various sports events and screening of motivational movies.
