Mizoram: ARTRAC commander Visits CIJW School

Lt Gen PC Thimmaya, VSM, GOC-in-C Army Training Command (ARTRAC) visited the Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School at Vairengte on 16 November 2018. The Army Commander heads the Training Command of the Indian Army, CIJW School is part of the same.
The Army Commander during his maiden visit to the School carried out a review of the training being conducted for Indian and foreign personnel and also visited the training infrastructure set up at the School.
He emphasized the importance of Counter Insurgency and Terrorism operations in present times and the need to be prepared and trained for it. He said that the CIJW School is doing yeomen service in imparting quality and realistic training on Counter Insurgency and Terrorism operations in the country as well as around the world.
He complimented the Commandant, Maj Gen MK Mago, YSM, SM and all ranks of the CIJW School on the exceptional dedication and professionalism demonstrated by the training faculty.
