Mizoram: CIJW school aid to Variengte
CIJW School voluntary repaired Community Water Tank in Mizoram which was accidentally damaged during a fire explosion of an oil tanker.

Living up to the ethos and traditions of the Indian Army, Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School attended to an urgent need of fellow citizens of Vairengte, Mizoram by carrying out immediate reconstruction of Community Water Tank, accidentally damaged during a fire explosion of an oil tanker, toppled in a road accident.
Community Water Tank located on a stream is the only source of water for the entire locality of State Veng Colony and is critical for sustenance of the local population.
The CIJW School immediately carried out repairs of the damaged Community Water Tank besides helping the affected neighborhood with other essential services including casualty evacuation, fire fighting, first aid, monetary assistance for treatment of casualty etc.
The continued goodwill gestures of the CIJW School are genuinely appreciated by the local populace of Vairengte. In addition, many youth of Kolasib District of Mizoram were also trained for Army Recruitment by CIJW School recently.
