Nagaland:  Assam Rifles Apprehends NSCN(K) Cadre in Dimapur

Assam Rifles and Local police apprehended one NSCN(K) cadre from Dimapur area in a special operation on Sunday last.

Based on inputs about presence of an armed cadre in general area Super Market, Dimapur, troops of Assam Rifles launched an operation along with local police on 04 Aug 2019 and apprehended NSCN (KN) Cadre.

During the interrogation, one 9 mm Pistol with magazine and three live rounds recovered from his possession.

The apprehended cadre identified as SS Lt Kennedy ( 34), resident of Ura Villa, Dimapur.

Later the he along with recoveries was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur  for further investigation.
