Rozgar Mela held in Guwahati, Dimapur and Siliguri under NFR

Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush handed over the appointment letters to the newly selected candidates at Maligaon, Guwahati.

GUWAHATI-   The 4th ‘Rozgar Mela’ in North-eastern region was hosted by N. F. Railway in Siliguri, Guwahati and Dimapur. Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush handed over the appointment letters to the newly selected candidates at Maligaon, Guwahati.

Rameswar Teli, Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Ministry of Labour and Employment handed over the appointment letters at Dimapur.

Nisith Pramanik, Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt of India distributed the appointment letters at Siliguri programme.

Of over 71,000 appointment orders in various departments, over 50,000 are from Railways where in N. F. Railway, 2890 appointment letters were handed over.

While addressing at Guwahati, the Union Minister congratulated the newly recruited youths, urged them to work hard with dedication to make India Atmanirbhar. The Minister also thanked N. F. Railway for hosting the Rozgar Mela.

The Rozgar Mela is a step towards the fulfillment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord the highest priority to employment generation.

The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.
