Guwahati police busts fake note racket

Guwahati police on Monday busted a fake note racket which was operated from a house  at Sijubari under Hathigaon police station in Guwahati.

Police have received  an information that fake notes were being printed inside a house ,at Minaj Path, Sijubari under Hatigaon PS.

Immediately police raided  the said house and recovered  some printed fake notes amounting to 3 lakhs, one scanner with one printer, 17 colour cartridges, colours and other materials.

The accused persons are namely Jainal Ahmed(45), Azmal Hoque (31) and Jiabuddin Lashkar (30). They were staying on rent, but unfortunately they managed to flee away.

Meanwhile the  City police carrying out vigorous search to nab the culprits
