Assam Flood: Relief for animals as Vehicle passing through Kaziranga diverted

GUWAHATI- Animals of Kaziranga National Park distressed due to heavy flood will be having much needed relief with the temporary diversion of heavy vehicles passing Kaziranga. Vehicles plying from Guwahati/Nagaon side towards Bokakhat/Golaghat etc. and other Upper Assam districts from upper Assam to Guwahati or lower Assam will be diverted.

As per the govt press release, Considering the flood situation at Kaziranga National Park, till significant decrease in flood situation, all the heavy vehicles including good carriage vehicles will be diverted through the below mentioned routes from today  onwards.

Vehicle coming form upper Assam diverted at Dibrugarh-via Bogibeel Bridge to North Bank and then proceeds to Lower Assam.

Vehicles from Lower Assam to Upper Assam  may take two roots as per their convenience . one is from  Saraighat Bridge to Baihata to North bank and then proceeds to  Bogibeel     Bridge for  Upper Assam.

Second root for those  vehicle coming from Rangia, can go through Baihata- North Bank- Bogibeel Bridge and the proceed to Upper Assam.

Vehicles to Upper Assam that have crossed Guwahati  Via Kaliabhomora Bridge- North Bank- Bogibeel Bridge- Upper Assam.
