Assam: 5th National Nursing Conference to Address Workforce Resilience and Talent Retention in Health Care

GUWAHATI- The Faculty of Nursing, Assam down town University is all set to host the 5th National Conference on “Workforce Development: Building Resilience and Retaining Talent in Today’s Health Care” on 27th June 2025.
The event aims to bring together health care professionals, educators, and administrators from across the country to deliberate on strategies for strengthening the health care workforce.

The conference will feature eminent speakers from reputed institutions.
- Ms. Sai Bala Madathil, Nursing Director, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi will speak on “Strategic workforce planning and skill development.”
- Dr. Bornali Das, Senior Lecturer of Psychiatric Social Work, Department of Psychiatry, GMCH, Guwahati will discuss “Talent resilience and well-being among health care professionals.”
- Ms. Aniruddha Banerjee, Associate Vice President – HR & IR, Peerless Hospital & B K Roy Research Center, Kolkata, will present on “Talent retention through engagement, recognition, and career pathways.”

The conference will also host poster and paper presentations, creating a platform for scholarly interaction and knowledge sharing among nursing professionals and students.
