GUWAHATI- The down town School, Guwahati is currently hosting a TeamQuest Experiential Learning Workshop for its students, aimed at strengthening learning beyond conventional classroom instruction. The initiative reflects the institution’s focus on holistic education and the overall development of students.
The ongoing workshop is centred on experiential learning approaches that integrate physical, social and emotional development with academic growth. Through a series of structured activities, students are encouraged to learn by doing, fostering essential life skills alongside classroom learning.

The TeamQuest programme includes physical exercise sessions designed to improve stamina, discipline and body awareness among students. Self-defence training forms a key component of the workshop, focusing on enhancing situational awareness, building confidence and equipping students with practical skills to manage real-life challenges safely.
Another major element of the workshop is a team-based obstacle course that promotes cooperation, trust and resilience. Students from Grade 6 onwards are also participating in team-building games that emphasise effective communication and positive peer interaction. Progressive group tasks, with gradually increasing levels of complexity, aim to develop leadership qualities, problem-solving abilities and time-management skills.
