Condolence Meeting for Late Kapoor Chand Ji Jain to Be Held in Guwahati on August 16
Shri Digambar Jain Panchayat, Guwahati, will organise the meeting on August 16 to remember Kapoor Chand Ji Jain’s social service and literary contributions.
GUWAHATI- The Shri Digambar Jain Panchayat, Guwahati, will organise a condolence meeting on Sunday, August 16, in memory of social worker and litterateur Late Kapoor Chand Ji Jain, with members of the community and various social organisations expected to gather to pay tribute to his life and contributions.
The condolence meeting will be held at Bhagwan Mahaveer Dharamsthal, M.S. Road, Fancy Bazar, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The meeting will provide an occasion to remember Late Kapoor Chand Ji Jain for his contributions to social service and literature. Tributes will be paid to him during the programme, according to the Shri Digambar Jain Panchayat, Guwahati.

The Panchayat has appealed for broad participation from the Jain community as well as social organisations, professional groups and social workers. The appeal has been made by Shri Mahaveer Jain, President, and Shri Birendra Sarawagi, Secretary, of the Shri Digambar Jain Panchayat, Guwahati.
The organisers have urged community members, women and representatives of different social and professional organisations to attend the meeting in large numbers and offer their heartfelt homage to the departed soul.
The condolence meeting is scheduled to take place amid the community’s remembrance of Kapoor Chand Ji Jain’s life, particularly his association with social service and literary activities.
