Assam: Extend support to MRV Campaign to make Hailakandi district free from diseases- DC Adil Khan

Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi, Adil Khan has appealed to the people of the district to cooperate with the ongoing Measles Rubella (MR) vaccination campaign for ushering in a healthy society.
In a statement here on Sunday, Deputy Commissioner Khan said the MR vaccine is highly safe and effective in controlling Measles and Rubella diseases and he had even immunized his little daughter at the SK Roy Civil Hospital. Khan said many officials, including Circle Officer, Katlicherra, James Aind and District Immunization Officer, Dr.K.Thambalsena have also immunized their wards without having any side effects.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the parents and guardians to come forward and extend unstinted support and cooperation to the health workers in immunization of all the children in the age group of nine months and 15 years with MR vaccine to make Hailakandi district free from the diseases.
