Mizoram: BJP CADC demands stop of Recruitment Examination

KAMALANAGAR–   A delegation of BJP CADC on Tuesday called on Pronit Bikash Chakma, Executive Secretary of CADC at his office chamber and  submitted a representation demanding immediate stop of Recruitment Examination to fill up the vacant posts of Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), C & D under various departments of Chakma Autonomous District Council.

In a letter to Executive Secretary of CADC, the BJP CADC alleged that the present Executive Committee CADC has notified about a Recruitment Examination to be conducted to fill up 54 numbers of vacant posts under various departments of CADC which was in actual not notified on public notice board nor on print medias of Mizoram. The said notification has only come to public notice after it went viral in different social media platforms on the evening of 13th December, 2021.

It further alleged that this kind of corrupt practices/illegalities of the present Executive Committee led by CADC CEM  Rasik Mohan Chakma is nothing new as a tactic used to keep out all competent and eligible candidates out from the interviews and is a deliberate attempt to only choose the kith and kin of the ruling MNF MDCs of CADC for the said so-called vacancies.

The BJP CADC delegation also reminded the CADC Executive Secretary that the present    Executive Committee of CADC is facing an acute financial crisis having more than Rs. 28 crore deficit budget and presently the Executive Committee of CADC is not in the position to fill up such huge numbers of so-called vacant posts.

The delegation has requested the Executive Secretary of CADC to immediately stop this recruitment examination for the vacancies and also copies of the said letter has been sent to the Governor of Mizoram, Secretary, DC&MA Government of Mizoram and Deputy Commissioner of Lawngtlai.
