Mizoram: BJP’s legislator Dr. B D Chakma calls on Governor
Mr. Chakma requested HE the Govenor not to give his assent to the bill as the bill is considered to be totally against the interest of the people of CADC.

Mizoram BJP’s lone legislator Dr. B D Chakma called on HE Governor of Mizoram at Raj Bhavan, Guwahati this evening.
The purpose of his meeting was to appraise the Govenor regarding the CADC (Land and Revenue) Rules, 2019 which was passed recently by the existing Executive Committee of CADC.
There are certain provisions in the new rules which poses a big threat to the permanent residents of CADC people.
Mr. Chakma requested HE the Govenor not to give his assent to the bill as the bill is considered to be totally against the interest of the people of CADC.
The Governor gave a very patient hearing to his explanation on the said new Bill and assured him that HE won’t give his assent if the bill is against the interest of the people of CADC.
