Mizoram: PKH Singh Addl DGBR (East ) inspects Project Pushpak

PKH Singh, VSM, CE (Civ) Offg Addl DGBR (East) visited the Area of Responsibility of Project Pushpak from 12 -17 Jul 2019. MANV Prasad, CE Project Pushpak briefed the Addl DG about the various ongoing projects.
Mr Singh, visited the road sector of 24 Border Roads Task Force (GREF) and reviewed the progress of ongoing works on TLLL road, ZMS road, LDP road, KDA Road and ST Road.
He took stock of the quality control measures being adopted and the site documents being maintained by ground executives.
He also visited a few bridging sites and discussed the issues with the executives.
During visit to road sector, Mr Singh also interacted with DIG, BSF, COs of Assam Rifles to assess the security issue of personnel deployed in the remote locations of Mizoram state. He also interacted with Officials of Land Revenue Department of Govt. of Mizoram.
Addl DG also called on Chief Minister of Mizoram Pu Zoramthanga and discussed the issues being faced by Project Pushpak in processing the land acquisition cases.
Mr Singh highlighted the pending land acquisition cases affecting the progress on ground and requested the CM to expedite the cases so as to progress the works in the right earnest.
