Security Forces apprehended 2 NDFB(S) Cadres

In joint operation of the Assam Police, 3 Rajput army, 64Bn SSB and 210 Cobra, ecurity forces apprehended two NDFB(s) cadres from Jharbari Forest area under Serfanguri Police station early in the morning in Kokrajhar district.
Rajen Singh Superintendent of Police Kokrajhar said that Security forces have launched the operation based on a specific input regarding the hideout of some hardcore NDFB(s) Cadres in ride no 7,8 & 9 of Jharbari Forest area .
During the search operation security forces stumbled upon a makeshift camp in ride no.8 and apprehended two NDFB(s) cadres. The cadres identified themselves as, Birdao Basumatary (20), Lahit Narzary @Sansuma(20),
Huge arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession, including Two 7.65mm pistol with magazines , six live rounds ammunition, three Catapults’ and Kukri from them.
The cadres are close associates of Dwimalu, Finance Secretary of NDFB(S) and was working under Khouse @ Khraokhrao, who died a few days back, Singh added.
Further investigation is on.
