Standing Committee of Parliament on Health & Family Welfare of Govt. of India, headed by its Chairman Dr Manoj Rajoria, MP visited Composite Hospital BSF Shillong on 20th Jan’2018 and interacted with admitted patients, enquired about their health and the way they are being looked after by team of doctors of Composite Hospital BSF Shillong.
Dr Manoj Rajoria after having a detailed interaction with indoor and outdoor patients, staff of the hospital made a round of all the vital installations of the hospital and has praised the way hospital is being maintained.
The members of the committee held a meeting and was briefed by Dr A C Bhardwajan, DIG(Med)/MS about the activities of BSF medical team who are not only made their service at Composite Hospital but also available for border population.
Especially about the new initiatives of doing disease centric screening camps at different border locations and the follow-up treatment/surgery being provided to the border population. Chairman of the committee admired about the available facilities of the BSF Composite Hospital and their proper utilization.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health & Family Welfare, Dr Rajoria has also interacted with P K Dubey, Inspector General of BSF Meghalaya Frontier and praise the work done by BSF for border population.
