six cadres of extremist organisation Kuki Liberation Front ( KLF ) surrendered to security forces with sophisticated weapons arms and ammunition, including M-16 rifle, AK-47 rifle, which are factory made and serviceable condition, said a press release.
These cadres will be rehabilitated through the revised scheme for surrender-cum-rehabilitation of Militants in Northeast as amended in January-2018, which was announced by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India, said the press release.
Meanwhile Assam police request all such extremist group to surrender with weapons and lead a normal life by availing the benefit of this policy.
