Hailakandi Deputy Commissioner Adil Khan inaugurated the e-Prastuti portal here on Monday.
Inaugurating the e-Prastuti and district magistrate dashboard at a brief function at his office conference hall, DC Khan exhorted upon the heads of concerned departments to showcase the various welfare oriented schemes of the state government as well as CM’s schemes and how these could be availed by the intended beneficiaries. He also asked the concerned departments to update the data on a regular basis so that the picture at ground zero is reflected.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the Additional Responsible Officer, e-Prastuti, ADC Ruth Lienthang to initiate steps to roll out other departments within January 31. Initially education, agriculture, health election departments and all branches of District Commissioner’s establishment have been included in the portal: http://hailakandi.gov.in
Created on the lines of Assam CM’s dashboard, the dashboard would enable the district magistrate to access the data on the screen and to take effective measures to accelerate the pace of implementation.
District Development Commissioner, FR Laskar, ADC Amalendu Roy, CEO, Hailakandi Zilla Parishad, NKSK Sinha, Assistant Commissioner, Rebecca L. Changsan and officials of concerned departments were present on the occasion.
A project initiated by the State IT department, e-Prastuti aims to standardize all State Government websites by making it people-friendly and to deliver ‘information as a service to the citizens’.
Launched by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in September 2017, the project has bagged the second prize in CM Awards for Excellence in Public Administration in the same year.
