Assam: Friendly Football Match between Indian Army and Doomdooma Sports club

TINSUKIA-  Rupai Battalion of Spear Corps, of Indian Army organised a friendly football match with the Doomdooma Sports Club on 22 February 2021 at Government College Doomdooma football ground.

The match was witnessed by approximately 270 locals. Mr Jogesh Baruah, former DC, Tinsukia along with the Senior faculty members of Doomdooma College also attended the event.

The match was won by the Indian Army team with a score of 4-1.

The efforts of Indian Army in motivating the youth towards sports was appreciated by all local sports clubs and other civilians.
