Assam: RGU inks MoU with AAU-Jorhat for collaborative research & innovation

The purpose of this agreement is to have a common platform for research and innovation.

  • The Royal Global University is collaborating with various institutes of the region for the development in the field of research and innovation in the state and especially Northeast.

GUWAHATI-  The Assam Royal Global University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat on 6th December 2021 in the AAU, Khanapara Campus in Guwahati.

The signatories of the MoU were AAU Registrar Mr. Tapan Kr. Gohain and RGU Registrar Dr. Diganta Munshi. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) S P Singh, Vice Chancellor, RGU, Dr. Bidyut Chandra Deka, Vice Chancellor, AAU, and other senior members from both the universities.

The purpose of this agreement is to have a common platform for research and innovation; exchange of students, scientists, research scholars and faculty members; internship; running collaborative projects, joint consultancy, training programs etc. and other relevant activities as agreed upon by both the academic institutions.

The Royal Global University is collaborating with various institutes of the region for the development in the field of research and innovation in the state and especially Northeast.

It needs to be mentioned that RGU offers a unique educational experience that prepares the next generation of global citizens to lead and make a difference in the world.

Meanwhile, the main goal of AAU, Jorhat is to produce globally competitive human resources in farm sector to carry out research in both conventional and frontier areas for production optimization as well as to disseminate the generated technologies as public good for benefitting the food growers/produces and traders.
