Manipur: Assam Rifles recovers huge cache of explosives along Indo-Myanmar border
The recovered explosives were handed over to Moreh Police Station for further necessary legal action.
IMPHAL- Moreh Battalion of Assam Rifles aegis of IGAR (South) recovered huge quantity of explosives and warlike stores while carrying out domination of Indo-Myanmar border on 07 November.
While carrying out an area domination patrol along the IMB, the alert troops of Assam Rifles detected well concealed boxes hidden inside thick foliage.
On closer inspection, a large number of prefabricated Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing approx 250 Kg were recovered along with a large quantum of other explosives and warlike stores.
The recovered explosives were handed over to Moreh Police Station for further necessary legal action.
