The District and Session Judge of North Sikkim Prajwal Khatiwada passed judgement of 20 years rigorous imprisonment to a teacher who had reportedly sexually abused and molested his students in a school somewhere in North Sikkim.
The case of 2016 has reopened and the judgement was announced by District and Session Court Judge Prajwal Khatiwada. District and Sessions Court North Sikkim at Mangan.
Meanwhile the Sikkim judiciary has once again set a lesson for offenders that anyone involved in minor sexual offence will not be spared at any cost.
