Army assists in securing future of 52 Youths of Upper Assam
In the recently conducted Recruitment Rally at Tezpur, a total of 52 youth from Tinsukia District of Assam who were trained by the Indian Army troops in Chapakowa have successfully passed all selection tests. This success is a direct outcome of a seamless civil-military cooperation which was displayed through a well-coordinated, thoroughly planned and executed training of the aspirants.
Indian Army’s tireless efforts in selection of such large numbers has not only given a major boost to employment of youth but also highlights the weaning support to insurgency in the area. The Army in past two years has been training the youths and has been instrumental in recruitment of 148 locals boys.
These youths have ever since been a matter of pride for the locals and have been a major force behind the development in the area. Presently a training of 180 local boys is under progress for the upcoming Recruitment Rally at Jairampur from 03-07 March.
