Air Force Station Tezpur awarded trophy of Best Flying Station

Air Force Station Laitkor Peak was declared the 'Best Non-Flying Station'.

Air Force Station Tezpur was awarded the trophy of ‘Best Flying Station- Pride of EAC’ and Air Force Station Laitkor Peak was declared the ‘Best Non-Flying Station’. This was declared in the annual Commanders’ Conference held at Shillong.

Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria, Chief of the Air Staff Indian Air Force  visited Headquarters Eastern Air Command (EAC) at Shillong from 04 to 05 Mar 20 for the annual Commanders’ Conference. They were received by Air Marshal R D Mathur, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief,

In his address, the CAS congratulated the Eastern Air Command for completion of 60 years of glorious service to the nation. During the conference, the CAS highlighted the operational importance of EAC and emphasised upon the need to concentrate on operational training and operational readiness tailored towards a quick and effective response to a rapidly changing threat scenario.

The CAS awarded trophies to the Commanders for achieving excellence in the fields of Operations, Maintenance and Administration.
