Arunachal: NPP MLA Tirong Aboh among 11 killed in an ambush

Eleven people, including sitting MLA from National People’s Party Tirong Aboh, were shot dead by unknown assailants in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday. The attack took place in the Bogapani area of Tirap district. The attackers also set ablaze his car, report said.
Tirong represented the Khonsa-West seat in Arunachal Pradesh and was contesting the Assembly election in 2019 from the seat too.
NPP, Arunachal Pradesh unit’s Spokesperson Nima Sangey Saling confirmed the report and condemned the killing of MLA Tirong Aboh.
Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema khandu shocked and condemned the incident . Action will be initiated to hunt down the perpetrators, he wrote in his twitter handle.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma condemned the brutal attack and urged Home Minister Rajnath Singh to take action against the culprits. “The NPP strongly condemns the brutal attack on Tirong Aboh and his family and his security personnels,” he tweeted.
