Assam: Dress materials for school uniform rejected in Rangauti Girls’ High School

Rejecting the dress materials on an inspection carried out on April 27, Laskar said uniform made from it would be detrimental to the health and comforts of the students.

He directed the headmistress to reprocure the dress materials as per specifications and to submit the same within three days. Laskar warned that legal action would be initiated in case of her failure to comply to the order.

Meanwhile, Hailakandi MLA, Anowar Hussain Laskar has alleged that a uniform scam has taken place in the district.
