Assam: Swarnim Vijay Mashaal received at Bhupen Hazarika Setu by the Rupai Battalion
The Vijay Mashal was received with due protocols and carried by a designated team of Officers and Jawans with a ceremonial Pipe Band dispaly.
RUPAI (ASSAM)- The Swarnim Vijay Mashaal was escorted by a ceremonial cavalcade by military persons and received at Bhupen Hazarika Setu by the Rupai Battalion on behalf of Laipuli Brigade and Red Shield Division 03 Oct 2021.
The Vijay Mashal was received with due protocols and carried by a designated team of Officers and Jawans with a ceremonial Pipe Band dispaly.
The reception ceremony was organised in presence of Children and local populace. Later as part of road show along the complete length of Bhupen Hazarika Setu, the ceremonial cavalcade with Pipe And Jazz Band playing military tunes and songs, the Mashal was brought to Kakopathar Army Camp where it was placed for the day.
Subsequently, a Wreath Laying Ceremony was observed in which Pradhan Baruah, MP Lakhimpur, Bolin Chetia, MLA Sadiya and Commander Rupai Battalion paid homage to the martyrs by laying wreaths.
The Victory Mashal will be further handed over to Digboi Battalion for a central commemorative ceremony on 05 October 2021.
