Assam down town University-Incubated Startup Vernovate Ranks 26th Among Selected Startups

GUWAHATI- Vernovate Pvt Ltd, a student startup incubated at Assam down town University’s down town Venture Labs (dtVL), has secured an ₹8 lakh grant under the Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Development Program (APEDP 5.0), marking another funding milestone for the young venture.
The grant was awarded under APEDP 5.0, organised by the Arunachal Pradesh Innovation and Investment Park (APIIP). Vernovate secured 26th rank among the selected startups, according to the information released by Assam down town University.

The funding is expected to help the startup further its innovation and entrepreneurial activities. The achievement also highlights the role of university-based incubation programmes in providing emerging ventures with access to mentorship, industry connections and funding opportunities.
Vernovate was founded by Lungsom Lamnio, Aditya Singh, Ashutosh Pratap Singh, Debojyoti Paul and Amit Sharma. The startup has previously received a ₹5 lakh DST-NIDHI-iTBI Ignition Grant, implemented by down town Venture Labs.
The latest ₹8 lakh grant therefore adds to the startup’s previous funding support and provides another opportunity for the team to advance its entrepreneurial journey.

The achievement also underscores Assam down town University’s efforts to support student entrepreneurship through its technology business incubator, down town Venture Labs. The university has highlighted incubation, mentorship, industry collaboration and access to funding as key components of its entrepreneurship support ecosystem.
The university congratulated Team Vernovate, its mentors and the incubation team at down town Venture Labs Foundation on the achievement and expressed confidence in the startup’s continued pursuit of innovation and impact.
