Assam: 5 Bikers arrested for performing bike stunts on NH in Hailakandi
HAILAKANDI- Five bikers have been arrested for performing dangerous bike stunts on the national highway in south Assam’s Hailakandi district. The police gave this information on Monday. A senior police officer said that five youths were performing bike stunts on the national highway connecting Hailakandi to Karimganj.
The arrested youths have been identified as Amin Laskar, Abdur Rehman Laskar, Fakrul Islam Laskar, Abdul Aziz and Iqbal Hussain Mazumdar. The bike stunt of the group caught the attention of the police after a video was uploaded on social media.

Earlier, Assam’s Special DGP G.P. Singh warned bikers trying to perform dangerous stunts on the highway.
People of Assam are requested to regularly inform through direct messages about any place or person involved in stunt biking, Singh had tweeted. Such display on social media platforms may also be brought to the notice of the Assam Police.
