Assam: AdtU and L&T EduTech Forge Ahead with Plans for Mechatronics and Semiconductor Programs
AdtU Students Interact with L&T EduTech Leaders; Top Performers Honoured.

GUWAHATI- Assam down town University (AdtU) hosted a high-profile delegation from L&T EduTech in a significant step to deepen their ongoing collaboration focused on integrating industry with academia and introducing cutting-edge specializations in engineering.
The L&T EduTech team included Mrs. M.F. Febin, Head – L&T EduTech; Mr. Mayank Ranjan, Head – Integrated Programs; Ms. Apurva Sinha, Manager – EduTech; and DMN team members Mr. Nitul and Mr. Alakesh Baruah. They were received by senior AdtU leadership including the Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and Deans of Engineering.

The visit featured a Student Interaction Session in the university auditorium, where Mrs. Febin addressed students on the future of engineering and the need for tech-driven, industry-aligned education. The university honoured top-performing students with Certificates of Excellence during the event.
The delegation toured academic spaces, interacting with students and faculty to assess teaching methods and learner engagement. This direct interaction allowed for a better understanding of the current academic structure and future integration points.

Key discussions were held on launching new specializations in Mechatronics and Semiconductor Technology, with the aim of enhancing skill development and employability. Plans were also made for future student visits to L&T’s high-tech facilities and the development of joint projects.
The day concluded with closing remarks and a networking lunch, marking a successful exchange of ideas and a strong reinforcement of the shared mission to produce industry-ready graduates.
