RAIPUR- A group of men staged a nude protest near Vidhan Sabha in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur on Tuesday demanding action against people who got government jobs using fake caste certificates, officials said.
In Chhattisgarh, youth belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities today staged a nude protest near Vidhan Sabha on the first day of the monsoon session of the assembly. They were protesting against SC/ST reserved jobs being usurped by ineligible people using fake caste certificates.

The police took more than a dozen nude protesters into custody when they were marching towards the state legislative assembly, police said.
The issue of fake caste certificate used to get government job in Chhattisgarh has been in the news for quite some time now. In the year 2021, a PWD executive engineer was suspended for using a fake Scheduled Tribe (ST) caste certificate.
