Moment of pride: Assam DGP salutes IPS daughter at her Passing Out Parade

One such dream has turned into a reality in the case of Assam Director General of Police (DGP) Gyanendra Pratap Singh.

The proud DGP Singh expressed his delight on Saturday by posting a video on Twitter in which his IPS daughter Aishwarya Singh is seen saluting him and reciprocating, DGP Singh also salutes her.

IPS Aishwarya Singh passed out from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy and the proud moment was captured after she completed her training. As a mark of respect, she saluted him.

DGP Singh captioned the video: “Words fail me. Received the salute from daughter @aishwarya_ips as she passed out of @svpnpahyd today.”

DGP GP Singh is an IPS of the 44th batch and 30 years later, his daughter completed her IPS training in the 74th batch.

Inspired by her father, Aishwarya dreamed of joining the Indian Police Services since her childhood, and her dreams turned into reality yesterday.

This video capturing the proud moment of the father-daughter duo has gone viral on social media with netizens showering praises on them.
