Assam: Security forces apprehended one NDFB (S) cadre in Kokrajhar

Security forces apprehended one NDFB (S) cadre in a joint operation conducted by Assam police and Army. The operation was launched on the basis of a special information.

The apprehended insurgent was identified as Dwisha Basumatary @ B Dahal,  Age – 23 years,  resident of Village –, West Badranpur, District – Kokrajhar (Assam).

one 01 x 7.65mm Pistol (Factory Made) and 02 x 7.65mm Live Rounds were recovered from the apprehended cadre . The apprehended individual is a Myanmar trained of 42nd Batch of NDFB (S) and has been actively involved in numerous cases of extortion, money collection as well as carrying out other subversive activities.
