Assam: Tree plantation drive at base hospital, Basishtha

Continuing its tradition of preserving nature and creating eco-friendly environment, 151 Base Hospital, Guwahati organised a tree plantation drive on 13th May 2018 at Basistha.
The event was inaugurated by GOC 51 Sub- Area and Commandant 151 Base Hospital and was enthusiastically participated by Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, Other ranks, families of 151 Base Hospital, students of Army Public School Basistha, Army Institute of Nursing Guwahati and volunteers from NGO “BON BONONI.
More than 800 saplings were planted in the residential area, training area and play ground of the hospital to increase the green cover in the hospital premises. On this occasion, GOC 51 Sub – Area complimented all the “green volunteers” for their participation in this noble cause.
