Jaipur Police Bust Paramedical Exam Cheating Racket
Police arrested four people, including a college director, in an alleged cheating racket during Rajasthan's paramedical diploma exams, while Maharashtra postponed the TET over a separate paper leak investigation.

JAIPUR- Rajasthan Police have uncovered an alleged mass-cheating racket during the first-year diploma examinations conducted by the Rajasthan Paramedical Council (RPMC), leading to the arrest of four individuals, including the director of a private college. The development comes amid growing concerns over examination security following recent paper leak controversies across the country.
According to Jaipur Police, the accused allegedly facilitated cheating for around 45 students from a college in Jhunjhunu district in exchange for approximately ₹5.5 lakh. Those arrested include Prabha Devi Memorial PG College Director Ramakrishna Mandiwal, his nephew, Head of Department Krishna Kumar Saini, and another staff member.
Investigators said they recovered diaries, admit cards, WhatsApp conversations, and other documents that allegedly outlined arrangements for invigilators to assist students during the examination. Police have described the operation as a pre-planned conspiracy and said further investigation is underway.

The examination centre also witnessed protests by students, who complained of delays in distributing question papers, overcrowding, and inadequate examination arrangements. The unrest reportedly resulted in vandalism at the centre.
Following the incident, the Rajasthan Paramedical Council cancelled the examination conducted at the affected centre and ordered its immediate closure. Authorities said a revised examination schedule for affected students will be announced later.
Jaipur West Deputy Commissioner of Police Prashant Kiran said the paramedical examination was conducted at multiple centres across Rajasthan and confirmed that investigators are examining the wider network involved in the alleged malpractice.
