Assam: Air force Station Digaru sets up Flood Relief Camp
A Large tract of Digaru village including the some adjoining area of the Station had submerged under the flood water of Digaru river.

Owing to continuous heavy rain fall, the flash floods engulfed the Village Digaru near the Air Force Station Digaru between 16 Jul 2019 to 20 Jul 2019.
A Large tract of Digaru village including the some adjoining area of the Station had submerged under the flood water of Digaru river.
A team of air warriors of the Station was deployed to carry out relief and rescue operation in the affected area. Food and drinking water were distributed to the villagers on daily basis till the water receded.
Close monitoring of flood situations and daily review was conducted by Group Captain SG Murali, Station Commander, Air Force Station Digaru.
