The Hailakandi district administration has promulgated Section 144 Cr.PC within 500 metre radius of the district firing range with immediate effect.

In an order issued to this effect on Thursday, Additional District Magistrate, Amalendu Roy clamped Section 144 Cr.PC prohibiting entry of public and domestic animals within 500 metre radius of the firing range.

The order that comes into force with immediate effect will continue till Saturday from 6 am to 5 pm.
